FAQ's

What does a mortgage broker do?

A mortgage broker (like me) acts as the middleman between you and the lenders/banks. We work for you but get paid by the lender or bank of your choosing. That means they help you choose the right loan to suit your needs at no cost to you.

Does it cost to use a mortgage broker?

In almost all scenarios you are not required to pay a fee for our services. Instead, we’re paid a commission by the lender you choose through.

How does a mortgage broker differ from a bank loan officer?

We work with multiple lenders to find the best loan for you, while a bank loan officer typically offers only the loan products available from their specific bank. A bank will never tell you the bank down the road has a better deal.
